Since 1802, independent maritime experts have united in the 'Nautical Commission' and made themselves available exclusively for judicial assignments.

Members are always neutral and independent and intervene only as court surveyor, mediator, arbitrator or similar functions.

Members do not accept assignments as private experts and refrain from activities that could lead to irreconcilability .

Team Naucom
Naucom is located in the Antwerp neighborhood of het Eilandje, in an old warehouse near the docks that were once the heart of the port and where Nautical Commission has its roots.
Its members are available for assignments from all Belgian Courts and Tribunals and, in maritime matters, also from the Court of Rotterdam.
With its central location, Antwerp offers the ideal base for carrying out expert assignments throughout the Benelux and, where necessary, our members also intervene internationally .
